We are the beginning of an open and inclusive Uniting Church presence in the Molonglo Valley. In this startup stage we are connecting with locals and listening for the emerging shape of this new church community. For starters ... Thursday Church. We are exploring meeting together for small informal worship gatherings at Evelyn Scott School Community Room. Join us on:
Thursday, 6th of November at 6.00-7.00pm
Thursday, 20th of November at 6.00-7.00pm
Thursday, 4th of December at 6.00-7.00pm
Thursday, 18th of December at 6.00-7.00pm
Our time together will include a variety of opportunities for interactive experiences including conversation, active and creative ways of engaging with Bible passages and sharing in times of reflection and prayer, and eating a light meal together.
The gathering is inclusive and is for all ages. You are welcome to participate in ways and to the extent that suits you. Wear whatever clothes you are comfortable in. The approximate schedule for our time together:
6.00-6.30 – welcome and engaging with Bible passage, prayer and reflection
6.30-7.00 – eating a light meal together
If you are unable to make it for the whole time, please come for whatever portion suits you.
